The star of Transformers, in Bumblebee guise and painted bright yellow, ‘he’ won the hearts of many a movie fan and the Chevrolet Camaro in all its recent guises has been a huge success in the USA and Canada.
Available in other markets with a V6, V8 or Supercharged V8 Engine, UK Supplied cars such as this one were only available with the 6.2 Litre V8 engine from the Chevrolet Corvette and the equivalent of ‘SS’ specification, although not officially named as such in the UK.
At the time, only 4 dealers were authorised to sell the LHD only Camaro to UK buyers and as such an official UK Specification vehicle is a rare car, indeed there are reported to be 47 Automatic examples delivered but only 15 with 6 Speed manual transmission.
Description
Supplied new by WH Brand Chevrolet of Spalding, Lincolnshire to its first and only owner on 6th September 2013, Finished in Summit White with Black Leather and 6 Speed Manual Transmission, the only option fitted was black stripes.
This example is also fitted with a Magnex exhaust system, making it sound incredible !
Used for high days and holidays this example has always been garaged, never had any paintwork or accident damage and been serviced religiously each year.
UK Supplied vehicles have specific tail lights and mirror mounted side repeaters from the factory and manual transmission vehicles produce 430 BHP.
Specification was standard across UK vehicles with Electric Seats, Heated Seats, Cruise Control, Rear Parking Assistance with Reversing Camera and Boston Acoustics Audio System all fitted as standard, Neither Factory Navigation nor a Digital Radio were available for UK Supplied cars.
