Description
The Model Y arrived on UK shores in mid February 2022 and is based on the Model 3, but the larger body results in a bigger cabin with higher mounted seats giving an airier feel, with much more space than the 3, it also adds the practicality of a hatchback and an enormous boot – plus underfloor storage in the rear and luggage space in the ‘frunk’
Presently, a new order to this specification is roughly October delivery.
Less than 3 Months old, this example is our own car. The Long Range provides plentiful performance – 0-60 in 4.8 Seconds, with a real world range of around 275 miles per charge (WLTP Rated Range 331 Miles), but much longer journeys are a breeze with the Tesla Supercharger Network.
As it was a new arrival in February 2022, all Model Y’s include the updates the Model 3 received the year before such as black exterior trim and door handles, a new centre console with twin wireless charging pads, interior dashboard trim extending onto the front door trims, Heated Steering Wheel, Power Tailgate and new Heat Pump for more efficient winter range.
In addition all UK Model Y’s benefits from the new Ryzen computer, laminated rear windows as well as double glazed fronts as per the Model 3, Heated Windscreen Wipers and a 15.5V Lithium Ion Battery.

No servicing requirements are due, Tesla recommend an inspection at 2 years old to include the cabin filter and a change of brake fluid, so not required until March 2024.
